5.0 star star star star starDr. Pant put me completely at ease. My medical situation was a bit unusual (and a little mortifying and embarrassing for me!) but Dr. Pant was wonderful. He showed empathy and compassion, and took the time to really listen to me and was so caring and reassuring in discussing next steps.

5.0 star star star star starDr Pant embodies all of the wonderful characteristics of the best MDs of my childhood. I grew up in the days when you were a child, your MD made house calls and really cared about you. That's the kind of person Dr Pant is. Add that to being up to date on the newest techniques and technology along with being an excellent diagnostician and you get a sense of Dr Pant.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Pant spoke with me, not at me. He explained things so I could understand. Made sure I understood, explained what happened, what to expect, gave me options on how to proceed, didn't rush, was very thorough, answered all my questions.

5.0 star star star star starI told a friend about him after my surgery over 2 years ago. A year later, she was diagnosed with cancer similar to mine. She made sure she got in to see Dr. Pant and she is so glad I shared my story and my praise for him and the surgical experience and the kindness and professionalism of all the staff. She had her surgery and is doing really well and appreciates the follow-up appts. I am now at followup appts every 6 months, and I appreciate the long-term interest in my health. I always find myself smiling at every visit and appreciate every aspect of the care I have been given.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
