Katherine treated me in the past. I was upset when I found out Katherine and Dr. [ ] were leaving Condell, but I was thrilled when I found out they were both at Midwestern. They have treated me for many years and the idea of starting over with someone new was something I wasn't looking forward to.

Katherine was very direct. She answered all my questions. She told me what to expect if I did not have surgery and I'm satisfied she did. She left it up to me as to where I should go to have the surgery. I am sure that I want to have it at NW.

I met Dr. Kathy in 2022 after the doctor I had been seeing for 12+ years (Dr. [last name]) up and left with no warning. Turns out, that's the best thing that could have happened to me because between Dr. Kathy and Dr. [last name], I have experienced 8+ PAIN FREE months for the first time since 2010!!

Kathy Kovacic is caring, compassionate, and empathetic. Pain management can't be just about the medicine as it is something that takes a toll on the psyche as well. Her caring nature also assists in caring for that part of it as well.
