5.0 star star star star starBecause she generally is concerned about her patients!! She explains things so a normal person can understand things! Very good for someone my age!! Makes it easier to understand when things are told to an old lady. LOL

5.0 star star star star starI always ask for Cathleen for my medical support that may arise between my annual physicals with the doctor. She is always there for me with my short notice unexpected medical situations. She is my hero that comes through with positive results. To Cathleen: pls stick with me.

5.0 star star star star starCathleen is as good as if not Better than any of the Doctors I have seen with this practice for the last 40 years! Why she cannot be a Primary is beyond me and a rule that needs to be reevaluated by NW. Cathleen in knowledgeable; listens and very professional and understanding.

5.0 star star star star starCathleen Brindl was great. I got a same-day appointment for my leg pain. She listened to me, examined me, and heard my concerns about my leg. She sent me for an X-ray, and was able to respond about the results quickly, before she left on vacation. She told me she was leaving for vacation, too, which was thoughtful. I have not expected further response or communication from her yet because she was considerate enough to let me know.

5.0 star star star star starShe listened, asked multiple questions, had me stretching in different areas to see where/when the pain comes up, offered possible solutions to try, seemed genuinely interested in getting to the bottom of why this pain.

5.0 star star star star starShe takes time to listen to what concerns the patient has and works together, with patient, to come up with the best treatment plan. A very caring person which is lacking in the medical field these days.

5.0 star star star star starMs. Brindl was really helpful in helping me understand what was going on and encouraged with her prescribed treatment. She kind of investigated the background of the contact dermatitis reactions and their allergic properties. They can fluctuate up and down and last a month. I don't get ill often, but when I do its often bizarre, so her idea to lengthen my prescription with some antiallergic support was right on. I still have a couple of weeks to go, but the turnaround was incredible and began in 2 to 3 days!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
