5.0 star star star star starThe kind of compassion/hospitality Dr. Murray had can't be taught. You can teach characteristics/patterns, but to be able to mix those things with knowledge about whatever symptoms/issue you are describing can only be developed with a true desire to want to help people

5.0 star star star star starSee above plus she was very nice and did not automatically assume I do not know what I am talking about just because I'm elderly. She listened and asked a lot of questions before she made a diagnosis. She looked at what type of UTI bacteria I had before she chose the right antibiotic for me. She is thorough and also doing a culture to confirm she has the right antibiotic. It's only been a few hours since I took that antibiotic which I had never heard of before and already there is less blood in my urine.

5.0 star star star star starShe was kind to me as a mother. She made offers and suggestions to make my visit more comfortable. She was quick because that was the tone I set in the room and was very respectful of my time with a sleepy 8 month old. She even showed me a short cut to leave the building. She was a true delight and I hope to see her again in the future.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Murray is patient and very good at making her diagnostic information easily understood by a non medical person. She was attentive and made sure that follow up care was understood completely before patient was released.

Disclosures
Gina M. Murray, DO reported no external professional relationships for calendar year 2024.
External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
