5.0 star star star star starDr. Hinchcliff receding my expectations and they were already high, from reading others reviews! She was extremely compassionate and her expertise and excellence shines throughout the entire visit! She explained everything in depth and answered all of my questions! 5.0 star star star star starEmily is a very smart doctor and believe she will provide me with a good care plan. One item of input: it would be helpful to experience a bit more positivity when engaging with her. Hope and medical promises are two different things. Numbers are important yes, and should be shared. However, seeing the positive and encouraging the fight are just as important for a patient.

5.0 star star star star starExtremely knowledgeable, friendly, great bedside manner. She drew out a diagram and went over everything with me allowing me to ask whatever questions I had. Communicated with me via My Chart sending updates on blood work and pathology before my appointments. My outcome was a positive one, and my recovery is going very well.

5.0 star star star star starWhile I can't speak to anything regarding surgical procedures or aftercare since I haven't had surgery yet, she has a great bedside manner, was very knowledgeable. She was patient and thorough with explaining my situation and treatment plan. I left her office feeling positive about my prognosis and ready for my upcoming surgery.

5.0 star star star star starI had a colonoscopy with another provider and it was a traumatic experience with an 11 out of 10 level of pain. Today the pain was a 1 out of 10 it was an unbelievable difference. She explained everything so well to me and I loved the team she had with her. I feel highly confident that she will be able to help me.

5.0 star star star star starShe knows her stuff, on top of the most recent interventions. I can imagine her schedule is well over booked but does try to take time to answer my questions, even if they are more peripheral to the issue at hand.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
