Dr. Emily Hinchcliff is compassionate, attentive and very understanding. She took her time to answer all my questions without rushing me and made sure that I felt comfortable throughout my appointment. I was nervous and so I appreciate her kindness and patience. I highly recommend her and her team. I felt heard and understood and well taken care of, I look forward to our next appointment.

Dr. Hinchcliff from my research seemed to be an extremely knowledgeable and technically excellent surgical oncologist. That impression was born out in reality. She explained my situation completely. Discussed options in the treatment plan post surgery. Answered every question and addressed every concern I had. I never felt rushed. But most importantly, she listened to me. She made accommodations to the usual plan based on my concerns and medical history. I felt respected & cared for. I felt that I was cared for by an excellent doctor and a wonderful human being.

If I could score Dr. Hinchcliff a 15, I would! She is one of the most amazing care providers I've ever met. She explained everything clearly and carefully, drew diagrams and decision trees, and was open and honest about my options. I felt heard and cared for. I cannot recommend Dr. Hinchcliff enough!

She was professional and knowledgeable. The appointment did not feel rushed at all. She explained my treatment in detail. Drew my husband and I pictures regarding my surgery. She spoke to me at my level. I have been a nurse for 40 years and I hate when healthcare professionals talk down to me. Most of all I felt we were a team in my healthcare. She LISTENED to my concerns and suggestions and included them within my care plan as appropriate. I would highly recommend Dr. Hinchcliff and Northwestern. Healthcare
