5.0 star star star star starDr. Thomas is extremely knowledgeable offering practical advice regarding my presenting issue. She was thorough and careful, running diagnostics before resuming a prescription I was taking. She ordered tests to be done that would determine if it needed to be changed. To me that was above and beyond! She took time to see what would be the best course of action. I didn't feel as if I was given a quick response to hurry on to the next patient.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Shantay Thomas was incredible. I was actually hesitant to go to urgent care after my fall because I was convinced I'd be brushed off and not taken seriously. Instead, Dr. Thomas was thorough and treated me like a competent person. I felt that my concern and injury was taken seriously, that she checked for broken bones and made sure that injuries could be managed in such a way that had minimal impact on my life. I wish that Dr. Thomas could be my primary care physician as the level of care I received was exceptional.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Thomas provided outstanding customer service. She assisted me and showed compassion regarding my concerns. If we had more doctors that go the extra mile and show concerns, the world would be a better place.

5.0 star star star star starshe was one of the best doctors I have met at NW, unlike the MD at the emergency a few days later. She was clearly able to move fast and assess the situation, no waiting no waste of time, kind and human

5.0 star star star star starShe was so nice! I appreciated her empathy about my hard week of poor health. She went over and above by providing paper tape and gauze for the MOS procedure earlier this week when I told her bandaids were bothering me. She not only gave me an antibiotic for my sinus infection but recommend Zyrtec to help with my sinuses as well as my reaction to bandaids. I really liked her!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
