5.0 star star star star starShe was the first doctor to analyze my systoms and give me the right prescription for my medical issue. I had been there twice before and the medical issue just started coming back. She also examined me for other systems

5.0 star star star star starHer bed side manner was top notch. She treated our nine year old and was thorough and clear... and taught her how to wrap her finger and explained everything in the xray -- showing her the comparisons between her hand and the xray. Very educational, and clear to the point why she explained it to her. Excellent!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Thomas was incredibly patient and you would never realize how many patients she had already seen that day, (and the general attitude other patients were having in the waiting area about the delays to be seen.). I really felt she was careful and though I was nervous about how much my insurance will cover of the swab and x-ray, it was needed so that we knew what was causing the trouble.

5.0 star star star star starShe was very thorough about testing for upper respiratory infections. She also let me know verbally everything I needed to know about how to keep others safe while I was was waiting for the results. Furthermore, the sheet she sent me home with told me what to do for colds in case the panel's results came back negative and advised me on the use of my inhaler.

5.0 star star star star starDr Thomas was wonderful - explaining everything that she was doing and going to do and why. After my exam was over she sent me to X-Ray and told me how she was going to follow up later today. I did get a call from Dr Thomas within the time frame she mentioned and I was given the results, the diagnosis, the prescriptions she had arranged and the time when she would call me back with the results of a nasal swab test. Dr Thomas is very professional and very nice and very friendly and it was a pleasure seeing her.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
