5.0 star star star star starFirst time I've ever met her. She was thorough, but nothing changed from the diagnosis in ER, so not sure why I needed to see primary care after ER. She was instrumental in getting me a more immediate appointment with an ENT.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lai is very knowledgeable, kind and cares a lot about her patients. She ordered all the necessary tests and checked everything very thoroughly. She is an excellent doctor, took the time to listen and address all my symptoms. I would highly recommend her to everyone. Thank you so much Dr. Lai.

5.0 star star star star starThis was the first time I worked withDr. Lai. She listens she cared. She was very professional, and I felt safe with her. In the past, I've usually dealt with Dr. [full name]. I absolutely love and trust and Dr. Lai gave me that same feeling very pleasantly surprised and happy with my visit and the results.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lai is a competent physician with great interpersonal and communication skills. She conducted a thorough assessment of my issue, confirmed a diagnosis, and explained the next steps, both in terms of moving forward with a surgeon, as well as conditions, if encountered, which would require a more immediate action. For noting, she is not my regular primary physician and accepted a session with her due to scheduling constraints with my primary.

5.0 star star star star starThis was the first time I met Dr. Lai, she listened to me and cared about what I had to say. I told her why I was there and that I was scared about what I was there for.....she was very caring and made me feel more at ease. I really liked the way she treated me.....I felt comfortable talking to her.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lai was very thorough in understanding how my mom developed the wound, and took steps to ensure it healed correctly and ensured that my Mom hadn't developed other injuries. She was very patient and respectful of my Mother, who has moderate dementia and sometimes struggles to express herself. Dr. Lai showed me how to treat Mom's wound at home, and gave me the proper wound dressings to use until my Mom's next appointment.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
