She’s very friendly yet professional. She didn’t rush through her exam. She was patient when I was having trouble with which plate was better, one or two. She was also able to provide relief for my vision problem.

Dr. Cherayil took time to carefully check my eyes and explain the basis for her findings. She was very thorough, responded with care to all y questions. I came with concerns about y eye and she has responded with clear explanations so I not only am reassured about that I don’t have to worry but also am sure I have a great specialist I can count on.

Dr Cherayil is my all-time favorite physician. Not only is she highly qualified but she recalls personal details from our appointments and continues building a relationship that feels both friendly and professional at the same time.

She is an amazing doctor, listens well to her patients, takes them seriously, and works to bring about the best outcome, even when it isn't straightforward. She advocates for her patients to other providers and is open minded.

Dr. Cherayil is knowledgeable, kind, and patient. She truly took the time to get to know my condition after my previous doctor had passed away suddenly. I feel at ease and well-cared for! 100% would recommend.

Dr. Cherayil is a GREAT doctor. She was very informative and made me feel at ease during my visit. She knows her field well and is a great communicator with a patient. I was in to the visit very nervous and ended up being very relaxed while meeting with Dr. C!

She provided a very thorough exam, spent adequate time with a presentation of her differential diagnosis and a subsequent explanation of her treatment plan moving forward. She also displayed a level of empathy that is comforting when you are faced with a life altering neuroophamological condition.

I appreciate Dr. Cheryl’s attentiveness and patience. She listens first and then responds and she takes her time to ensure that I am satisfied with my care and that I understand everything. While I regret the circumstances that caused me to require these services, I am eternally grateful and thankful to have her as my doctor!

Dr Cherayill is so patient and personable. She takes the time to explain everything to me, answers all my questions and has made me feel extremely cared for on a personal level. I have mental health ebbs and flows that typically make medical visits (and doctors) a point of anxiety for me. She, however, has been the best doctor I have ever worked with. Finally, as a plus size woman, the medical industry is rarely kind. Dr Cherayil and her team are my first exposure to complete comfort at the doctors office. 20/10.

Dr. Cherayil, makes you feel like your health is very important to her. She listens to you and not just push you off and she's off to the next patient. I feel listening is very important part of health care.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
