She is very easy to talk to & understands & is sensitive to her patients needs. Very knowledgeable & eliminates that "fear" we all have when seeing our Dr. And, most important today, I don't feel lie the "time meter" is going when talking to her (deal breaker for me).

Dr. Serna is an excellent doctor. She is warm and caring and tries to understand each individual patient. She provided me with a sound enhancing device which allowed me to participate more fully in my exam and feel cared for and heard. She is an excellent listener making one feel totally comfortable sharing personal details. This exam was a very positive experience for me and for my wife.

Dr Serna is an excellent doctor. Not only is she kind and perceptive, but she truly cares about each patient. She listens and offers helpful suggestions and possible solutions. For example, she gave me a website where I found helpful exercises for a painful shoulder issue. And she observed that my husband has serious hearing loss even with hearing aids and provided a Pocket Talker device which substantially improved communications during our appointments. In spite of the fact that her office is miles from our home, we will make the effort to travel to Old Irving Park in order to visit this amazing doctor.

I must say I read reviews prior to actual visit. My experience with Dr. Serna thousand percent different. I didn't feel rushed. Dr. Serna answered all of my questions. Gentle during routine exam. Extremely pleased and happy with Dr. Serna!!!

Dr. Serna is so incredibly intelligent and up-to-date with all the latest studies and information. She is incredibly personable and wonderful at explaining anything I need to know.
