5.0 star star star star starThis the first time I met her and I was very uneasy of what she was going to tell me. She just calmed me down and explained everything very throughly. I was very at ease after my visit. I couldn't believe how nice she and thoroughly she was. One of the nicest doctors I have ever met.

5.0 star star star star starI believe her to be at the top of her field and she shows genuine concern for my wellbeing. She made a very big difference in my overall health and outlook on life. She is very personable and engaging but seems to tell like it is - her candor is what makes her a great doctor. I hope that she remains at NMH for a very long time.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Asgar, is very smart and understands the concerns of her patients; she inspires confidence because of her deep experiences and involvement with all aspects of non-invasive cardiac care. My wife and I both felt fortunate to have been introduced to her and to have elected to have her do my tricuspid valve repair. The great outcome , in my case, certainly justified our convictions.

5.0 star star star star starA well oiled crew with a leader - Dr Asgar - in charge. She was encouraging me through the process (as were the others) as my arteries were giving a fight against the catheter so they were communicating through the experience so I would be as relaxed as I could be during the procedure.

5.0 star star star star starShe came to see me shortly after chucking in and brought back. She explained what the procedure would do snd answered my questions. She was friendly and explained that the staff and nurses would be in shortly to start prepping me for surgery and indicated she was going in to start her first procedure and I would be taken after that was finished.

5.0 star star star star starExcellent doctor. Explained the procedure well with all pros and cons to help us make educated decisions. Very personal and had studied all my testing results before entering the office to explained the findings. She heard all my questions and replied well to assure my wife and I understood well. We decided to use her as my doctor for the procedure.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
