1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderit was a very upsetting appt. The first thing he said when he walked in the room was,â€Why are you here why are you seeing me?†I didn’t even know how to answer. I saw Dr. Iacob maybe 2 1/2 years ago for five minutes and haven’t seen him since. I was referred to him again by my primary care physician. She thought he would be able to deal with my face pain better than my migraine neurologist that I see in downtown Northwestern. He seemed to be very disturbed and upset about this. He was quite angry when he walked in the room, before I even said a sentence. He said I had a whole team of doctors working on me why would I need to come to him. I tried to explain to him that my “team†of neurologist(2 drs dtown) are for my migraines and my primary care physician thought it would be good to see him about my face pain. He did not care, he did not want to listen to me. I I do not understand what happened and as I said earlier it’s very disturbing. He was dismissive cruel and rude. I’ve never been treated like this before and I’m not even sure what happened. It was a terrible experience and I still can’t believe he did what he did. This all happened in a matter of less than 5 minutes.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderDr Iacob is one of the worst providers I have ever had to meet with. He does not provide any answers or helpful information about my diagnosis or care during appointments. He spends all appointments trying to rush me out. While we are in the office, he is charting very detailed information and not focusing on me. I do not have access to this charting or the information in there so this does not help me at all. The notes and after visit summaries I receive have barley any detail in them regarding my care or next steps. I am the kind of person who wants to be involved in their care plan and understand the “why†behind decisions being made about my care. I come prepared with questions I want to ask saved in my phone, and I try to type his response but like I said, he does not answer my questions or provide the care I need. I can tell he is very intelligent, knowledgeable, and experienced in neurology but what good is that to me if he will not work with me on making sure I understand what is going on and how I can care for myself with my new lifelong diagnosis.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderHe was rude because he was upset that I had the nerve to be there because he looked at my chart and didn’t see a reason to be there but I hadn’t been diagnosed although I knew I had a problem with my nerves and he did in fact diagnosed me with a nerve disorder and planned on treating me for this disorder but never apologized for entering the room rudely scolding me. I came there desperately seeking help with something I knew was going on with my nerves in my neck. I’m depressed from the constant pain and to be scolded instead of helped, I’ll never return to that location again

5.0 star star star star starDr Iacob is wonderful and has been caring for me for years. He is good about staying up on medication and suggesting alternatives when needed. I have never had an issue with my Botox for migraine.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Iocob is a great neurologist. He’s excellent at managing my medicine intake for my myasthenia gravis. When he’s sees something a little off during a MG test, like nodules in my thyroid and lungs, he refers me to another specialist and keeps an eye on it himself. He’s more than just my neurologist!

5.0 star star star star starIn the beginning Dr. Iacob and I were not on the same page. However, he has been so amazing these past several months! He has a wonderful memory and always makes me and my family a priority. Truly cares about me as a person and wanting to help me feel better.
