5.0 star star star star starHe sits and listens to all I have to say. He asks the right questions and elaborates on my situation, I like that when I told I couldn't be seen in 5 months even with symptoms that he told me what to say the next time and that that was not right and I should have been seen.

5.0 star star star star starI’ve been seeing Dr. Martini since I was 19 and for the last 10 years he’s always diagnosed and treated my condition very thoroughly. He is a brilliant specialist and is very kind and efficient with his time. I trust him with my health and I recommend him to anyone I know having gastrointestinal problems.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI received no preparation information for my colonoscopy other than a generic preparing for my outpatient surgery. I even asked the anesthesiologist nurse who called for the pre-visit check-in to send me something and I never received anything. I had to go onto the NMH website and find the information for myself. In MyChart the time for my appointment wasn't even listed. Not a good experience leading up to the day of the visit probably a rating of 5-6. The procedure experience itself was a "10".

5.0 star star star star starDr. Martini was one of the best doctors I’ve seen in several years! They were caring and compassionate, straightforward and extremely knowledgeable, explained things to me, asked if I had questions, didn’t dismiss anything I talked about, and helped me accomplish what I set out to accomplish during appt.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
