5.0 star star star star starNo one is better! Karen possess all of the traits that one could ever wish for - in a medical professional- but are almost never found together! She’s innately kind, caring & responsive. Listens, hears, contemplates, encourages, supports, motives, and challenges. Her knowledge is comparable to none & she uses it to problem solve, think outside the box, provide knowledge & understanding. She’s organized, efficient, follows through & collaborates. I could go on & on..

5.0 star star star star starI’m [age] & have had issues with my back, hips, pelvic floor, knees, you name! I was [age] when I had my first serious back problem. Since that time, I have seen PTs at the[ ] (where I worked), at [ ], at [ ], at [ ]- at home after surgery, and I’ve probably forgotten a few. Some were excellent, some terrible, most somewhere in between. Karen is the best. She always sees the big picture as well as the essential finest details. She explains them to me - the what, why, how & so what. For me? That’s what encourages & motivates me: I believe that I can get better with some specific work & time. She is extremely efficient during sessions, without my ever feeling rushed. She is an excellent predictor of how much time it will take in order to see improvement, which is so helpful. She is warm & exudes positive energy. She makes even the most awkward procedures feel normal. She always knows my history before we begin this is my second time) which not only saves time, but instills confidence & allows me not to ever worry about missing something. She always asks if there is anything else, even when she’s taken a whole hour & even when I’ve arrived late because of issues in the parking garage! She’s also an exceptional medical professional. She has been the one who recognized some major issues that others hadn’t, recommended that I follow-up with someone- & keep my PCP informed. All without judgement, and without making me feel alarmed. (Not always simple!)

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
