5.0 star star star star starDoctor listened and took immediate action on a few problems I had. Exam not as thorough as my first one a year ago and a bit rushed. Many questions addressed but had a couple additional questions - felt like my time was just “up” and that was that. What I did ask about answered thoroughly - doctor obviously knowledgeable. Already recommended Dr. Zimmers to a close friend.

4.0 star star star star star_borderShe seems very competent. She sometimes lacks a positive “bedside” manner. This recent appointment was actually the most engaged she has been with my father and I appreciate that. She and her staff are responsive to questions or requests via phone or MyChart.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderI was disappointed with Dr. Zimmers’ bedside manner. I don’t doubt her medical skills and expertise. However, a warm approach helps me feel safe and comfortable in a doctor’s office, so I’ll be looking for a new provider.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
