5.0 star star star star starDr. Martin is very funny and he makes my son feel comfortable. He has been seeing him since he was a baby and even remembers certain things about him without even looking at the computer. The nurses were very nice also. The visit went quick.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderTalks far too much & you feel like you can’t get a word in about why you are even there. Very frustrating. Tries to make child feel at ease but is awkward and not relatable.

5.0 star star star star starHe is great with my kids and he treats me as a partner in my kids health. And I also like it that he takes action quickly when needed. When my daughter had symptoms of enlarged adenoids, he told me within 1 minute of exam “we need to punt this to ENT she needs her adenoids out”. It was shocking to me and I wondered if there were other things we could try…but he was so right. She had hearing loss, which we didn’t know at the time, and her adenoids caused a 99% blockage. He got her to the right care quickly and didn’t mess around. It is one of the things I will forever appreciate about him and his relationship with our family.

4.0 star star star star star_borderI came in on Day 2 of symptoms with daughter and he recommended for us to hold off on a pcr covid test (which is okay) but was told to get a test the next day at Lurie or immediate care for the test. Shouldn’t I be able to schedule that ( a nurse or lab visit ) with him?

0.0 star_border star_border star_border star_border star_borderWe have seen the PA and have always had a warm and welcoming experience. The experience we had with Dr. Miller was the complete opposite. Not a good fit for my family.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI told the doctor that the child didn’t feel well in the morning and right after breakfast vomited. When the doctor came in, he started to talk and ask about any development concerns I have and I said none. Then he started to talk about other cases he had delaying the exam of my child who was undressed and screaming because she was hungry. I asked the doctor to start the exam because the child is hungry and I need to feed her because she vomited in the morning but he seemed did not care and kept talking

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderI never have a great experience with Dr Martin. My son came in with a persistent cough and dripping nose. After asking a few questions and trying to send us on our way I had to request that he look at my son’s nose/sinuses and throat. My son has a cold that is lingering but a more thorough exam or some guidance would have been appreciated.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Martin is amazing! My son a teenager and was saying he wanted to switch because he is always the only big kid in the waiting room. We hadn’t been in a while but after our last couple visits he was reminded how wonderful Dr. Martin. When we left today he said, “I don’t want to switch. I like my doctor”.

0.0 star_border star_border star_border star_border star_borderHe was dismissive of our concern that it was a tick bite despite the huge bullseye on our child's leg. He quickly diagnosed it as hives and suggested an allergy medication. We thought that was odd and pressed him to look closer and he while he did look he remained steadfast in his diagnosis and very quickly wrapped up the session and headed out. While he listened to the question my wife and I and answered our questions, but did not seem super interested in what our 10 year old had to say. Dr. Martin listened to our son's replies to his initial questions, but as our son later tried telling him that he was started to feel pain and was pointing out more marks on his legs, the Doctor kept talking to me and walked out the door without acknowledging our son's comments. 10 minutes later when we got to the car we had 4 or 5 missed calls from the doctor saying that he changed his mind and that he couldn't rule out Lyme Disease and prescribed 21 days of Amoxycillin. Had that diagnosis come when we were in the exam room with him we would have had several more questions. We will not be seeing Dr. Martin again and are now looking for other Pediatricians in the NWM network.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Martin was very knowledgeable and provided us with straightforward guidance on how to navigate the early weeks for our newborn. As first time parents, my husband and I left the appointment feeling confident about our son’s care going forward. We appreciate that Dr. Martin is clearly an expert in his field but also he is very personable and friendly. We would definitely recommend him.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Paul Martin is a God send. We have been coming to him for several years. He gives the best care in a short amount of time. He is extremely knowledgeable and has always been right on target with what to do for my granddaughter. I truly appreciate him for the concern and care he gives.

0.0 star_border star_border star_border star_border star_borderVery condescending, didn’t listen to my full questions before talking, tried to end the visit twice without asking if all of my concerns had been discussed. Kept saying “tell this to mom and things like that like my wife is the only care provider. Will actively avoid him moving forward.
