5.0 star star star star starDr. Wierzbicki was very thorough in asking questions about my current situation. She explained my options, explained the details of the procedure, explained the after surgery / recovery process, and answered all my questions. NW Med also helped me with scheduling all of the necessary pre op procedures.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Wierzbicki was very helpful and instead of booking my surgery right away she actually referred me to other specialists to get other problems addressed first. Dr. Wierzbicki explained the procedure I will eventually undergo very well.

5.0 star star star star starShe was very professional and listened thru all my concerns. Only issue we had with her was her communication after gall surgery with my family waiting to see her. They did not get to talk with her after my surgery. I feel she and the staff for communication failed at this.

5.0 star star star star starShe is to the point in discussing your surgery but she is very kind and caring. Post surgery, Doctor W explained to my husband how, what and why the surgical experience was done and what to do and watch for post surgical recovery

5.0 star star star star starThis lady is a 10 on all counts! Her office staff was efficient, friendly, timely & knowlegeable. We set the date for my surgery (July 18) before I left the office. This is a model practice for Northwestern to emulate!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
