5.0 star star star star starShe's super friendly and easy to talk to! She took her time explaining things, listening to me and answering my questions and I'm very confident I would have no problem getting in touch with her for questions and follow up.

5.0 star star star star starI feel very confident in Emily's care. She is patient focused on the whole person not only in her speciality area. I find her to be welcoming, intelligent, thorough, compassionate, unhurried, open to addressing any concerns, and answers all questions you may have. As well as she has a down to earth calming presence that alleviates any apprehension you may feel.

5.0 star star star star starMy experience with Emily has been beyond what I can rate on here. She is incredibly personable, compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, and truly listens to your issues and concerns. She answers all questions and never makes you feel rushed or as if your input and worries are trivial. If she is uncertain of your inquiry she will seek out the information and/or refer you to the appropriate specialist. She inspires confidence of care even when you may be feeling overwhelmed. I went to that practice with the reasonable theory that my health problems were limited to the gastrointestinal realm to discover that this isn't the case. When a practitioner like Emily looks at you as a whole instead of just one system, it is the most beneficial and relieving experience you can ask for. I am so very grateful to have her in my corner and would recommend her to anyone.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
