5.0 star star star star starHe was very nice. Although he left a voice mail with my husband regarding my procedure and my husband accidentally deleted it. I spoke with his office after I got home and left a message and his office NEVER returned my phone call.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lee spent a good amount of time consulting and asking questions. He was great at explaining his initial thoughts thoroughly but in a way that could be easily understood by something me not medically trained. When we talked about the planned procedure he outlined the risks but couched them in terms of probability which was extremely helpful. I have never had a negative experience at Northwestern, but Dr. Lee was probably the best experience I’ve had to date.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lee was focused on my care and seemed genuinely concerned. He recalled the details of my prior visit with him and inquired about my progress. He is efficient but unhurried and he communicates in a clear and responsive manner. He wanted to be sure I had asked everything I wanted to know before the procedure. He’s a very caring physician.

5.0 star star star star starHe took time before the procedure to talk to me in a way that felt personal, not like a bunch of information he was legally obliged to say. He gave me a sense of trust before going into the procedure

5.0 star star star star starHe was extremely professional, polite, very clear and informative in his explanations. Smart young doctor! Very impressive!I'll give him an 12 out of 10 if he starts playing classical music during procedures instead of rock music. :-)

4.0 star star star star star_borderI liked Dr Lee and I think he has a decent plan. I didn’t like however that I didn’t get examined for my issue. A PA looked last time but he couldn’t be bothered to look and said he would peak at a colonoscopy in the next 6 months yet it’s my problem.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Thomas J. Lee is the consummate professional. He explains complex matters clearly and in a compassionate manner. This is the third time in a 16-year period that I've asked Dr. Lee to perform a colonoscopy, and I've always been completely satisfied with the procedures.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
