Bio

Dr. Thukral is a dedicated radiation oncologist who treats a wide variety of cancers. She specializes in breast and gynecologic cancers. During her residency, she conducted research in the areas of breast, lung, and esophageal cancers, proton radiation therapy, and quality of life in head and neck cancer patients. She has presented her research nationally and internationally and published her findings in several prominent journals. Dr. Thukral has a strong interest in issues relating to quality of life for patients and their families as they undergo radiation therapy. Dr. Thukral is attracted to this specialty because it is an intellectual and technically driven discipline with the physician-patient relationship at its core. As a radiation oncologist, she has the privilege and opportunity to help and support cancer patients and their families through the challenging treatment journey they endure. Outside of medicine, she loves spending time with her husband and three kids. Her hobbies include playing tennis and pickleball, doing Pilates and strength training, and traveling.
