5.0 star star star star starDr. Garg was personable, listened carefully, asked good questions, sought patient and family input actively. Dr. Garg had also clearly reviewed all of [ ]'s records (24 years' worth). She outlined a solid plan, and her nurses immediately began to set up the next action steps.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Garg is very therile and listens to everything and doesn't just tell me what to do. She makes sure I m ok with the options she gives me and most important: she gives me options. It feels like a great doctor -patient relationship.

5.0 star star star star starShe is great, gives my son attention gives me suggestions really works along with us. Making it convenient for me to decide if I wanted to take [ ] to draw his blood later or now since he had no breakfast. So instead of making it convenient for her, she made it convenient for us. I could have waited but since my son is autistic, non verbal he might not want to go for that. But even the blood drawn was fast, and easy.

5.0 star star star star starShe is very thorough with her questions and tests. She offers several options and also listens to my input. She knows what meds need a prior authorization and puts it in right away so there's not a delay with getting certain medication.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderDr. Garg is very nice, but not prepared for our visit. I called the office days prior to the appointment to make sure a report (for an assessment Dr. Garg wrote the order for) was received at the office and it was received weeks prior. When we got in the room the doctor was not aware that that report was in the patient chart and had to read/skim it during the visit. I expect doctors to be prepared for visits. It was a lengthy report that That had some questionable parts in it. If this was read prior to the appointment the doctor could have contacted the physician who conducted the report to clear up some sections that she (and we) felt to be a bit confusing.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg. To learn more about our Disclosure and Professional Integrity Policy, and the conflict of interest policies of our joint affiliate survey partners, please go to our Office for Regulatory Affairs Policies page.
