5.0 star star star star starDr. Patel truly takes her time with her patients. She listens to me, takes into consideration what I want and ultimately makes the best decisions she sees fit for my healthcare while explaining in full her decisions. I really appreciate how she presents and practices medicine.

5.0 star star star star starI love Dr. I. Patel. I think she is GREAT!!! I respect her and I appreciate her helping me....and caring. She listens to me and is very patient with me. I saw her yesterday with my serious problem of an Eating Disorder( portion control), she talked to me and was wanting to help me through this very difficult time. No pill will help me, but I very much appreciated her help, and respected what she said to me and how I can fix this very depressing, upsetting, frustrating illness that I have been dealing with since my anerexia when I was 13/14 years old. -And, I am (unfortunately), almost 65 next month in April. This is very devastating for me. Dr.I. Patel is a very compassionate and sympathetic doctor.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Patel listens, is attentive and caring. She also has the ability to gently direct what is needed at an appointment without making me feel that what I may be concerned about is irrelevant. It can be addressed once we have completed other tasks. She is a skilled communicator who handles many issues in a timely fashion.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
