It's obvious Dr. Templer genuinely cares about her patients and wants to help. I am someone with epilepsy who has only had focal aware seizures. With previous doctors I felt like they didn't care about my seizures or take them seriously, since they aren't the "big" kind. Dr. Templer truly cares and understands how much my seizures affect me. Definitely recommend her to anyone with epilepsy.

Dr. Templer took ample time with me to explain the changes to my medication and how it could impact my care. She explained everything in detail, answered all my questions, and ensured I understood what was going on. Cannot recommend her enough!

Dr. Templer is the best! She got me through 6 years of seizure scares, without major incident. I'm super grateful.

Again, the most comfortable I felt with any doctor, let alone a neurologist.

Dr Templer is a perfect model of a neurologist. She's compassionate and intelligent. She's a team player, willing to reach out to other doctors to seek out information and communicate for the best outcomes. She talks directly to my adult child with an intellectual disability but also includes me. We don't often see this because it's a fine line to see. We can't say enough about Dr Templer, besides that she's one of a kind.

Dr. Templer did telehealth with me. She had very positive options and suggestions. She plans to meet with me when I come on July 31 for my MRI and to meet with my other two doctors. we had never met before she covered my concerns and recommended new options. I was very pleased.

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
