5.0 star star star star starDr Mannion is an exceptional MD! She is professional, friendly, and an excellent listener. She also asked good questions which helped our discussion. Her knowledge of the issues I was dealing with were obvious when she did a physical exam and was able to confirm what the next steps should be. I have been fortunate to have good primary care doctors in the different places we have lived and Dr Mannion leads the way along with Dr Briker at NW Med!

5.0 star star star star starShe was very thoughtful and thorough and felt like she genuinely cared and took the time to listen. I appreciated she gave me a heads up the testing I was looking to do (blood panels) may cost extra given my age and her notes were very thorough and reflected all of our conversation. Very glad to have found her as my new Dr

5.0 star star star star starDr. Mannion is easy to talk to and listens as I described the reason for my visit. She didn't tell me what she thought my ailment was, instead she listened to my narrative and examined me. Dr. Mannion shared she would like to do bloodwork and speak with Rheumatology to see if together they could determine next steps. I really liked that she was going to consult with Rheumatoloy.

5.0 star star star star starShe spends a lot of time with me explaining the diagnosis, the treatment options, the risks and benefits of each option, then listens to my preferences. She is proactive in scheduling tests and scans. She exhaustively studies the patient's prior medical history on Mychart/EPIC, including prior test results and doctor notes from other institutions. She's completely prepared for each visit. She outlines the 'action plan' at the end of the visit, with a clear understanding on my part of exactly what steps are next, and whether I need to do it, or she will be following up.

5.0 star star star star starShe was very well prepared, familiar with my medical history and issues via the online patient portal and my linked account with my prior providers and test results. She took an extensive amount of time to go through everything, including an examination, since I was a new patient. She explained everything well, listened well, was extremely personable and kind, efficient and thorough. You couldn't ask for more in a primary care doctor than Dr. Mannion!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
