Dr. Patel is straight forward, personable, and knowledgable. The results have been superior. I've been well treated by him and support staff. I can't say enough about how successful the surgery was. He answered all questions and concerns new my case forsure you could tell he looked it over with his team. Talk with respect and care for why I was there. He made me feel so comfortable, I have been to 4 surgeons and all said the same diagnosis but being allergic to metal made everyone not want to touch me and not treat me super great. Dr Patel sat down and went through every detail with me and made me feel so comfortable and gave me a lot of knowledge. All my questions were anwered, he was so kind. I really felt like recovery is on the horizon and left with an ear to ear smile that lasted the day.

Dr Patel is so highly skilled, wise, knowledgeable and his bedside manner is literally beyond compare or reproach. I have had many doctors at this point in my life. He listens. He tells the truth. He doesn't gloss over the hard stuff. He has done two spinal fusion surgeries on me thus far and at this point, I would not allow anyone else that kind of access to my back. I trust him implicitly and feel fortunate that he was the one I got paired with when I originally came to NW for help with my back.

Dr. Patel really takes the time to explain procedures and diagnostics to his patients. More importantly his level of expertise is exceptional- we felt totally comfortable under his care. Fourth back surgery for my husband and finally someone got it done right! One year out and my husband is totally pain free. I also had an appointment with Dr. Patel to evaluate my own cervical neck issues. He was very thorough in his explanations, and he made me feel at east about asking questions.

Dr. Patel and his PA, Mary Katherine, took time to explain my MRI and the implications for my health. Dr. Patel explained in clear language the treatment options and why he preferred one option over the other. Both Dr. Patel and his PA answered all of my questions and have personalities that instill confidence and appreciation.

Dr. Patel immediately put me at ease. He demonstrated he looked at my films. He explained why I had the problems I have been having and brought to my attention a new more important one. He laid out a plan. I felt very confident in his ability. He never talked down to me or dismissed me, unlike his resident who was rude and arrogant.

Thoroughness, i'm unable to have lumbar spinal fusion for the next six months to year because of recent diagnosis of osteoporosis. I am devastated, but I am glad that he told me I just wish there were options for people who are in extreme pain.
