5.0 star star star star starDr. Syed is a kind and thorough doctor. She listens to all my concerns, and comes up with a Solution. Today I discuss my TMJ WITH HER AND I TOLD HER WHAT I DONE and the medical staff I had seen with no results. Dr Syed gave me a few options, that other professionals hadn't mentioned. I'm thankful and I truly Appreciate Dr Syed

5.0 star star star star starShe is a brilliant neurologist but also has the best bed side manner. She takes her time and really listens to her patients. Not only is she patient but she does a great job explaining and educating her patients on their condition. She is there to help and heal and not just treat and send on their way.

5.0 star star star star starI had been informed by the company which supplies my medications that the company that makes the medicine no longer manufactures in the United States. Also, due to the tariff situation, my medication was temporarily and possibly permanently unavailable, so I should prepare for the worst and find a suitable generic or other substitute. Dr. Syed was very committed to helping me explore safe and appropriate options to this problem.

5.0 star star star star starThis was my first visit with Dr. Syed. I see why she is so highly rated. Dr. Syed spent time listening to my issues. I didn't feel rushed. She gave me an evaluation including oral testing and offered several suggestions. She also asked me to return for a followup. Very pleased with my visit.

5.0 star star star star starShe's concerned about my what's going on with my neuropathy. She understood what I was saying about my daily experience dealing with medications she prescribed. Together we decided to decrease one my meds with the option of going back to the previous regime. My return visit scheduled in 6mos instead of every 3mos. Progress is being made.

5.0 star star star star starThe doctor was extremely helpful. She was detailed, thorough, and guided our discussion well. She really gave me her full attention and was very informative on what she planned on doing throughout the whole appointment, as well as what she was doing on the computer and how I would receive my information. She seemed very knowledgeable and referred to my previous care to help build on topics we discussed. She was great.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
