5.0 star star star star starDr Axe was very thorough with his examination, his approach was professional and kind. He explained in detail his findings. He was clear with instructions and gave preventative teachings. He spent his time and I never feel hurried .

5.0 star star star star starDr Axe takes the appropriate time to explain test results and answer questions. Hw also throughly reviews my medical history to confirm we are working towards the right pathway for my medical care.

4.0 star star star star star_borderWhen I was looking to replace my primary doctor who left NW for the cushy concierge medicine field after 15 years of treating me I did some homework. I was sort of surprised that Dr. Axe had quite a few negative comments about him. I was a bit reluctant to go, but I believe more in good reviews than whining unhappy people's opinion so I gave him a shot. When I first started talking to him I was taken a back a bit by his seemingly gruff, mater of fact, no sugar coating conversation he had with me. After a fairly long consultation and going over my past medical history I was impressed. I do believe he has my best interest as well as most likely all his patients best interest at heart. I also think he is very smart, knowledgeable, and highly competent. While Dr. Axe does not have the warmest, most friendliest bedside manner I've ever experienced, and I doubt he will ever give me Bears tickets like my last Dr. did I think he is a straight shooting, no nonsense Dr. and I'm glad he's mine.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
