Dr. Cekova is probably one of the most caring and communicative doctors I have. In this last visit, she took the time needed to explain the connection between the estradiol my oncologist says is ok for me to continue using, and the potential for a recurrence of breast cancer if I do since my cancer was estrogen positive. Her concern is felt by me as genuine and more knowledgeable, and I trust her guidance. Oncologist also recommends 5yrs of Tamoxifen _ Dr. Cekova explained that, if I choose to take the medication, she would need to monitor me for uterine cancer during this period (something my oncologist did not mention). Dr. Cekova also informed me that there are other estrogen blockers available that had not been offered to me. So glad Dr. Cekova is part of my team.
