5.0 star star star star starDr Kinn is obviously very good at what he does, but really appreciate that he listens to any concerns and patient with my husband who is very slow sometimes at making changes needed to stay healthy

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kinn is straightforward, tells you your options, and does so as kindly as possible. I know I'm just one of many many patients he sees but somehow every time I see him it feels like he knows me. Thanks for keeping me alive doc!

5.0 star star star star starHe was willing to see me promptly when i was in distress. If we figure out my problem i will be able to give a more accurate score. I understand needing tests to be accurate. After 2 ER visits and seeing my primary doctor, i hope we find out what is wrong with me.

5.0 star star star star starI had an appointment to see Dr. James Kinn a week after he did a Cardioversion. It was successful and I'm thankful he has taken such good care of me. I talked to Dr. Kinn about the cost of one medication and he prescribed another which will lessen my out-of-pocket expense, which will give me less stress. He suggested a smart watch that will take EKG's and let me know if I am getting Afib again, which I did purchase. While Afib will not cause death, prolonged Afib can cause a stroke or heart attack and I definitely do not want to have a stroke. Dr. Kinn and Dr. [name] are doing their best to prevent either. I will do my part and make some lifestyle changes. I should also get my Sleep Apnea under control in the next couple of months, therefore, lessening the chances and return of Afib.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Kinn is very patient and knowledgeable. He also incorporates his patient in the decision-making process. I saw him for a bout of a-fib three years ago and he just inspires confidence. I feel that I'm in very capable hands with Doctor Kinn!

5.0 star star star star starHe is the best doctor I can say I've had when I go to his office even if I'm not feeling good. I walk out there feeling great. He talks to me. He makes me laugh. He treats me like I'm his friend and he cares about me. I would recommend him to everybody. I know that need a hard doctor.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
