5.0 star star star star starDr. Goldstein is a wonderful combination of a doctor’s doctor and one that also understands the human instincts of her patients. Her questions were insightful and her plan was manageable. Overall, she gave me the impression that she “gets this†and that we will take care of it. Hard to ask for anything more in a physician.

5.0 star star star star starGoldstein and her team of residents are great but it can be a bit distracting. My only feedback is for the doctor to focus more on communicating with the patient vs training the residents. It seems the focus is more on their training than communicating with me and to be honest, she only spent about 5 minutes in the room maybe less. I had some things I wanted to address with the doctor but forgot because of all the distractions.

5.0 star star star star starI saw Dr. Goldstein and her mentor early in Dr. Goldstein's career. Done, through my UC employee, I was enrolled in a self-insurance program. I received very good care from the uveitis specialist I saw there, and, when there was no more specialist, I saw a retina specialist, who just did not have the knowledge of the disease. When I was able to choose my own insurance plan again, I picked the plan that included Dr. Goldstein. The last time I saw her she was pregnant with her child who I met at my first appointment with Dr. Goldstein at NWM as she (the daughter), as a premed, followed her mother through he workday as a premed student. I am so glad I am with Dr. Goldstein as the disease progresses.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Goldstein is by far the best doctor. She is constantly aware of where I am in my care, including results and actions of my other doctor at UIC. She always proceeds with the best actions needed at the time but with long-term goals and concerns in mind. This ultimately makes me feel cared for not only as a patient but as a person. I always walk away feel good about the plan of action and know that all my questions and concerns were answered.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
