4.0 star star star star star_borderExpert care by Dr. Debra Goldstein. I’d have given a 10, but this time I felt sort of like a laboratory Guinea pig for her numerous students. I experienced discomfort during and after exam, more that at previous visits.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Goldstein has a great sense of humor. I relaxed with her immediately. I was impressed with her, especially when she was able to give me the name of the doctor and the year that I was first diagnosed with uveitis. That was over 40 years ago. I have been in remission close to 40 years until now.I did my own research before I chose Dr. Goldstein to handle my care. I feel certain that she will really helpme.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Debra Goldstein is an expert in birdshot uveitis and I am finally able to see her again after 20 or so years of very good birdshot uveitis specialists and not-so-good non-specialists as well. She suggested short and long-term plan of care which will offer treatment for multiple inflammatory conditions.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
