5.0 star star star star starDr Delaney was awesome. Great communicator, down to earth, and got right to the heart (no pun intended) of my situation and gave me clear directions on how to manage it going forward. It was perhaps the best doctor visit I’ve ever had, she’s great.

5.0 star star star star starShe spent the time to hear how things are going. She explained risks and changes I need to take to help my health. She explained options and things in detail. Some things were hard for me to hear but she is doing that so I can be healthier.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Delaney listens to her patients. I like that about her. Most medical practitioners are so full of themselves, they forget patients have a history. I worked for the Nixon White House, top of the line and was a senior staff assistant to the first Republican Governor of the State of Texas in 104 years. I was assistant to the campaign manager. One of the top political consultants on the nation credited me for that victory: the Hispanic vote switched parties to elect William P. Clements. I was a kind of ambassador to the governors of the Mexican states that abutted the State of Texas. We met with the President of Mexico. He dismissed his translator. I was translating for the Governor and the President of Mexico.

5.0 star star star star starShe was very thorough in her discussion regard my conditions and was candid in her recommendations, explaining all that was involved in any possible procedure. While I do not choose to take her suggestion that I have a surgical procedure, she made the possible outcomes quite clear.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Delaney was so well prepared to see me.she made me feel like I really mattered. Dr. Delaney taught me things I never knew about my condition that other doctors must have felt I didn't need to know.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
