5.0 star star star star starDr. Lewis took the time to get to know me, my history, and what’s really happening with me currently. Her patience is simply unmatched. I did not feel like a patient number being cattle through the turnstile of modern healthcare facilities. I was the most important person/patient to her at that time. Her ability to listen even while being well prepared for my visit struck me as a physician who got into the medical profession for the right reasons. Dr. Lewis’ attention to detail, attentiveness, and intelligence made me feel like I can do this. Finally, she devised a plan forward. The security of knowing my best interests and outcomes align with her professional judgment and skills. It was worth the wait to see her.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Lewis was personable and spent time explaining things about my heart. The parts of the heart. What a statin does and what an angiogram is used for and where its helpful to have one and that an MRI of the heart could to the same thing.

5.0 star star star star starShe is great. Kind, caring, great listener, explains things very well, thorough and excellent follow up. Do everything you can to keep her, she’s a gem. Only negative is difficulty of getting an appt with her. Took over 3 months for new patient appt and she instructed me to see her NP in 6 months and her in a year. It was no problem getting an appointment with her NP but Dr Lewis’s schedule already booked out until February of 2024.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
