Rebecca Plutz helped calm my nerves and was very helpful. She informed me about what she would do before she started and made sure I felt heard.

She was very knowledgeable, did not rush in her explanation of my pancreas problem. I loved her professionalism and her "bedside" manner.

Rebecca is great. I think I've had two one on ones with her always feel like I'm getting the attention that I need as I mentioned earlier thorough examination in the absence of Dr. [last name] who I believe Rebecca works for and others. I can see why they have full confidence in Rebecca and others On his staff. It also like to give Jose, who I believe, works up at the front desk and does some scheduling a shout out. He's always able to find me an appointment that accommodates my schedule as I work from home and have a number of zoom calls. In my face-to-face interaction with him I just think he's a really nice guy and a good representative Of the oncology staff.

External Professional Relationships

Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
