5.0 star star star star starDr. Popescu is sensitive but persistent. He asks many questions, is respectful of my feelings, and listens carefully in order to understand any obstacles to my progress. He provides concrete suggestions and encourages follow-up appointments to assess what has or has not been helpful.

5.0 star star star star starI think I mentioned this above and I'm so happy to have Dr. Popescu as my physician. He is very kind and knowledgeable and works with me directly. I like coming into the office instead of through a tele visit.

5.0 star star star star starDr Popescu is still new to us after Dr [last name]'s retirement. I appreciate how they did transition of care, meeting together twice before Dr [last name] left. Dr Popescu is very thorough, and patient. He listens to our concerns and incorporates them into making adjustments to medications, always looking at the big picture and not quick to increase dosage to minimize negative med side effects.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Popescu is very easy to workk with. He exhibits skill, experience and genuine concern for my husband and me. I feel like we are working together to address the behavioral challenges relating to the diagnosis of FTD. We were appreciative of the transition from Dr. [last name] who retired from the clinic to Dr. Popescu. This is so very important and many health care systems don't bother with termination/ transition. Thank you!

5.0 star star star star starDr. Popescu was very thorough and thoughtful in getting to know me. He was patient and sensitive, and made constructive suggestions for how I might move forward in overcoming obstacles contributing to my emotional difficulties. He also showed an interest in my physical/medical health and, there too, made some constructive suggestions. I was impressed by the fact that he wanted to have a follow-up session in a few weeks, in order to assess the results of medical tests and what, if any, progress I had made in implementing suggestions.

5.0 star star star star starOh, Dr. Popescu is awesome, and I don't recall having a full hour to discuss my medical issues ever. He is very kind and understanding. I felt an immediate fit for my ongoing mental health issues. He wants to further check my medications and if necessary, change if needed.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
