5.0 star star star star starI love Dr. Sosman! He has a great bedside manner and is a super hero to me regarding my cancer issues. He is focused on my concerns and will answer any questions I have concerning my health. He is so thorough in making sure I have the right tests for my annual checkups and if he didn't request a second biopsy, I feel I might not be here today. Most doctors would say all is good if the first biopsy came back negative, but Dr. Sosman had his suspicions and had a second biopsy ordered at that time showing that I did have cancer in that particular area. I am now cancer free.

5.0 star star star star starHe always takes the time to listen to me. On this trip I told him my leg was hurting, and my PT was thinking I had a blot clot. I went to the Dr. And they scheduled an ultrasound for some time in July. Dr. Sosman insisted I do it immediately, and within an hour, it was done, and it turned out that I did indeed have a blood clot.

5.0 star star star star starMy medical condition brought Jeff Sosman into my life—-a truly fortunate, situational event for me. He clearly exhibits shared decision making and patient involvement in all treatment options— with an encouraging atmosphere.

5.0 star star star star starHe’s a thoughtful, patient man. Did good, physical exam (rare these days when doctors seem reluctant to touch their patients) listened closely to my description of symptoms and clearly laid out a diagnostic plan. Couldn’t ask for more. Oh, he’s punctual, too. No waiting, which isn’t easy when office full of needy patients.

5.0 star star star star starHe listens. He seems caring. He wants the patient to have the best quality of life as possible and to experience as little pain as possible. He schedules test regularly to note progress. Has nurses and a team that’s very responsive. You can’t ask for much more then that.

5.0 star star star star starHe is extremely competent and knowledgeable in his area of medical practice. He has the ability to relate to his patients exactly what the health issues are and how the treatments will address those issues. And he cares, truly cares about his patients as human beings needing care and compassion!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
