5.0 star star star star starHomero Vasquez, PA-C, Provided exellent patient care. He was so very knowledgeable he explained the entire procedure and made me feel at ease.I was worried prior to the test, put he was very gentle and there was no pain involved.I have all the confidence in him. After the test he showed me the results, and very nicely explained my results. He definitely is a very professional and knows his job. I hope the Hospital appreciates him as much as I have.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderThe Dr had terrible bedside manners.... Didnt introduce himself nor did he bother to even ask me the reason for my visit. His replies were very dry and his assessment was very poor!!!! I had to express my true feelings in order to be re-evaluated for my voice lesion that indeed was seen the second time in the scope!!!!!! He really tried to dismiss me and my feelings. Such a shame that people have health insurance just to be told nothing is wrong, when indeed there is!

5.0 star star star star starHe asked me why I was there explained the procedure so I knew what to expect and checked along the way. We looked at video together which was fascinating. I learned a lot about my vocal chords and was reassured about prognosis.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderNot an MD and since we talked about breathing and he gave me a long lecture about breathing through my nose, I had a question for him about my concern that I did not get enough airflow through the nose. His answer was that this was not his field and he could not say anything about this. So much for going to the department of Ear NOSE and Throat of a major medical center. Guess that is why I prefer to be seen by a doctor who I would expect to have comprehensive training.

5.0 star star star star starClearly explained what was going to occur with the test and why. He was very supportive and eliminated any anxiety I did have. And the test went easily just as he said. He also showed me the results afterwards with clear explanations. I appreciated the time he took to do all thiis and made a possibly anxious event, every easy.

5.0 star star star star starI would recommend Homero Vasquez, should my friends and family find themselves in need of an otolaryngologist. He patiently and knowledgeably answered each question I posed, and he made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. His concern for my well being was genuine.

5.0 star star star star starHe took a considerable amount of time to ensure he understood my concerns and symptoms, evaluated my throat in-office and explained his thoughts/recommendations in an easily understood manner. He was also very personable.

2.0 star star star_border star_border star_borderThe reason I put a 2 was because I felt like the whole time I was talking to the doctor he wasn’t listening to what I was saying. I’ve been having pain in my throat for 6 months to the extent of not being able to breathe, having difficulty swallowing, and feeling like I have something stuck in my throat 24/7. I’ve been to immediate care about 4 times and saw my primary doctor who referred me to go see an otolaryngology because of my throat but he kept saying it was because of something else like an ear infection which I only had gotten once in this whole 6 months which I got confused and said twice because I couldn’t even think without a snark remark from him. He also ask if I have acid relax which I said yes but i haven’t had since before my tonsils started bothering me because I’ve been taking care of myself than he proceeded to tell me that is a reason why my tonsils can be bothering me. I don’t understand how that can happen because like I said i haven’t had it since before my tonsils started hurting me. He proceeded to than ask me if I would like my tonsils taken out and I said yes because I’ve been dealing with this for too long and I just feel suffocated all the time but than he said well we don’t have enough evidence to get them taken out. Okay fine I understand it’s the first appointment I know it wouldn’t happen overnight but the way he made me feel was like I just wanted to have a surgery for fun. I’m sorry but I’m not a person who would take time off of work, and drive 45 minutes just to get a surgery if I didn’t absolutely need to. He did prescribe me medicine but me thinking it was going to help with my swollen tonsils. It was for acid reflex! Let’s just say I’m going to another location for a second opinion.

3.0 star star star star_border star_borderNo apology for being 30 min. late. Did not tell me new med. was prescribed (first found out from the pharmacy). Contrary to notes, did not tell me to resume discontinued med. Very good at leading me through the procedure and showing and explaining the video results.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderHe mocked the way I was speaking and the position I was sitting on. Came off as offensive and called me a very tense and stressed individual which was not relevant to the issue I was coming in for.

1.0 star star_border star_border star_border star_borderDoctor Vasquez is very passive and unprofessional. His beside is terrible. He’s fixed on his opinion and won’t take your concerns into consideration. He was rushing as if he had something else to do, you could tell he was preoccupied. When he’s speaking to you, it’s more like you’re his inferior and cause he’s a physician he knows more. He’s one of those physicians that believe he can do no wrong and his opinion is law. He dismissed those with County care insurance and idolized those who don’t. He dismissed all of my concerns despite being referred to him due to the pain i’ve been experiencing. He doesn’t use critical thinking skills. Wouldn’t recommend. The medical assistants is the only positive experience and gave him a overall 3 score.

5.0 star star star star starThe Doctor we met with did a very thorough job investigating my concerns. Relative to the past level of care and detail I have had, this was miles above any previous medical experience. I was left feeling confident in the work and observations he made. Both the knowledge and demeanor presented were 1st class.
