5.0 star star star star starI guess I expected the finest cardiologist in Chicago to be distant, possibly even arrogant, towards an ordinary nobody lik me. But Dr Shah is the EXACT opposite. Humble, patient and professional, it almost felt like I was the nationally renown figure in the meeting instead of him. Any patient of Dr Shah's has basically won the lottery!

5.0 star star star star starI had to see another cardiologist for a couple of years due to insurance coverage. I am so extremely grateful to be back at NM with Dr. Shah. I have been seeing cardiologists since I was one month old (when I first required surgery). I am 51 and he is a scientist, caregiver, and brilliant mind. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us. I am very appreciative.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Shah is amazing! He has phenomenal listening skills, freely shares his thinking and includes me in the plan for next steps. I'm so grateful he is at Northwestern!! I wouldn't want to see anyone else for cardiology, especially for my AL Amyloidosis. I trust him completely with my life! He diagnosed me upon my first visit with him 4 years ago and saved my life!!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
