At Northwestern Medicine, our patient’s feedback is important to us. While different care providers have their own unique strengths, we strive to be as transparent as possible with our quality of care.
Particular to my most recent appointment I was extremely upset that at the time I made the appointment nor at the time of check-in was I informed that my wait time would be longer because Dr. Engman had students with her. I sat for 50 minutes waiting to be called. I want to the desk and inquired about my wait. The person at the desk stated she would find out why I had not been called because the nurse was "reviewing" my chart. I was then called to the desk again to be informed that they were checking into why I had not been called. Shortly after that
The reason I decided to give a 10 score is because: #1 My appt. time is always on schedule or before. 2nd: My overall medical experience with the Northwestern Internal Medicine staff, have always been wonderful no matter what issues brought me to the hospital.
The reason for my score is with all of my care providers they treat me with respect, and explain everything to me so that I would know what is going on, would I recommend northwestern memorial most definitely,,,
Dr. Engman has been my Primary Care Physician since 2010. She has shown respect and compassion since my first visit. She changes medications when necessary. She also calls you if test results show that an intervention or referral is needed.
Dr. Engman, is attentive and listens to all of my health issues and gives great advice on what to do when taking new medication and the current medication I am on. She responds quickly with my tests results from my blood work and has a great bed side manner!
