5.0 star star star star starKatherine expanded her thought processes for my diagnosis very well and in understandable terms. When the chest X-ray was delayed, she came and told me about the delay and apologized for it. She demonstrated great competency and was very kind in her dealings with me.

5.0 star star star star starThe doctor Katherine was very nice to us even if we came late. I know she had a long day but still was very accomodating to us and seems to really understood our worried hearts. She is a blessing and an answered prayer to help our daughter yesterday.

5.0 star star star star starProfessional, asked pertinent questions, listened to my assessment of my issue. Requested x-rays for another assessment before concluding her professional assessment. Made recommendations based on her observations, x-rays and my input.

5.0 star star star star starKatherine totally put me at ease knowing that she was a doctor that really cared. Lately, I have not come across many doctors that actually care instead of rushing thru blasting out orders. Thank you Katherine I wish you all the best! I have to say, my memory is not that good these days so I can't remember my Nurses name but She was Awesome, I was so scared and hurting and she calmed me immediately just by being so caring and gentle. Thank you so much!

5.0 star star star star starI presented with possible cellulitis. Due to a side effect of Prolia, I have had 5 cases in 3.5 years. Kate had reviewed these cases, including photos prior to entering the room. As the daughter and sister of doctors, I'm a fairly informed patient. Kate picked up on this. While 'normally' the level of inflammation would not rule in cellulitis it could not be ruled out. I did not want to take high doses of antibx if not needed. We agreed that a prescription would be called in, and I would monitor any expansion carefully.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
