Dr. Wilkes has been my primary for 25ish years and she TAKES TIME with me, it's so important in the days of "rush" that a Dr pauses, listens, asks questions, ENGAGE with their patients-you learn so much from this and it guarantees a return visit!

Dr. Wilkes is OUTSTANDING! I have seen her for most of my adult life and she is even tempered, patient, has a great bedside manner and is collaborative in working with a patient to optimize health. I dread the day she retires and appreciate the good care she has provided me over the last few decades. She is a great representative for Northwestern and should be teaching new physicians and staff.

Dr. Wilkes is an amazing physician. I am grateful to have her as my primary as she is both caring and highly capable. Dr. Cheryl Wilkes is the most caring and knowledgeable PCP I've EVER worked with. She understands my history, my current issues, and how it all contributes to my future health. She uses research based information to give valid, reliable advice. She knows when it is she to take care of something or to advise me on something but also knows when referral to another specialist is more appropriate. She collaborates with my other doctors when necessary and always keeps abreast of what happened with other providers by actually reading their summaries in MyChart. I never feel rushed or forgotten. She responds to my questions and needs whether it be in-person, in MyChart, or with a personal phone call.
