5.0 star star star star starAlthough I dont want her to be even more busy than she is already, Dr. Wilkes has always been available and responsive to my medical needs, attentive and reassuring, and she spends as much time as we need at my appointments. She's been my primary care doctor for at least 30 years and I feel very fortunate to be in her care!

5.0 star star star star starMy key reason for recommending Northwestern for primary care is because of Dr. Wilkes. Thorough, highly intelligent, engaged, prepared, and knows where we left off and what the next steps will be. I've recommended her others over the years. I became a patient of Dr. Wilkes through a recommendation by one of her previous patients.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Wilkes is an excellent doctor. You feel seen and heard with her. She works to follow issues, follow up, works with the patient to find solutions and suggestions to consider. Outstanding bedside manner and exactly what you would want your doctor to be like and how you would want to be treated.

5.0 star star star star starI can't say enough positive comments about her professionalism and medical knowledge. She actually takes the time and sits down with you about what your concerns are and just overall well being. There are so few physicians left with such an amazing because manner.

She listens to what I have to say about my daily living and the impact it has on my health I feel she does it to understand my physical, mental, and emotional health, but I think it's also because she cares and that matters to me!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
