5.0 star star star star starDr. Ryan has been methodical and patient throughout the process. He listens well and provides clear and detailed answers. I appreciate Dr. Ryan taking time to evaluate my situation, explain his findings, outline the surgical corrective measures, discuss potential infection issues, and review recovery expectations. I want my Dr. to express his expectations for my behavior and activity during recovery. He shared his opinion and I will follow those expectations to ensure a great recovery. Dr. Ryan was never rushed during the office visit, prior to surgery, and when talking with my wife afterwards. My wife greatly appreciated the detail and results he shared. I was very confident that Dr. Ryan was going to do great work. I felt like a valued customer and patient. I will highly recommend Dr. Ryan moving forward.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
