5.0 star star star star starDr Szmuilowicz always take the time needed to go over test results, answer my questions and discuss my health status. I always feel positive and satisfied when we're finished, knowing what's next and what I need to do. And then she has someone call me to make my next appointment. She's the best.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Szmuilowicz treats me for hypothyroidism and osteoporosis and I could not feel more fortunate to be her patient. She is extremely knowledgeable & up to date on research related to the latest osteoporosis treatments. She welcomes questions and answers them with compassion and understanding. She is friendly & has a great sense of humor. Northwestern really needs to clone her! If only all physicians & not just endocrinologists were as professional, intelligent, and caring as Dr. Szmuilowicz. Take care of her so she does not leave Northwestern Medicine!!!

5.0 star star star star starBright, knowledgeable, young, and that's just for starters. The only thing that might impede her is kriptonite. You are lucky you have her . You have a gem don't lose her. Where she goes I will follow.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
