Dr Vittal is a Godsend. I don't know what I do without her or her excellent care and expertise. She listens in a way that no other physician does. Her bedside manner is superb. I feel hope whenever I have a visit with her. That's really what each person suffering from a movement disorder (dystonia) needs, outside of treatment of course, is a physician who listens and gives hope. Life with a movement disorder is incredibly hard. She makes it bearable.

Dr. Vittal is very interested in my health with Parkinson's. She takes the time to explain the meds that I take and keeps me updated with my condition! When I have a question I use the NWM portal to send her a message and she gets back to me very fast! Great staff also!!

I saw Dr. Vittal when Dr. [last name] was on leave this year. She closely monitored the adjustments to my medications that were necessary to address my changing PD symptoms. She addressed my needs through my chart, video calls and in office visits.

NW should thank their Lucky Stars that they have Dr Vittal on staff. She is one of the most exceptional Neurologists I have ever had the pleasure to work with regarding my husband's care. He has had 2 heart attacks w/CHF 3 strokes, 2 of which occurred this year and Parkinson's since 2017. So many medical hardships but the one that impacts him the most on a daily basis is of course Parkinson's. Dr Vittal is fairly new to my husband's team of physicians all of which are part of Northwestern, but with her compassionate professionalism she has listened to his challenges and our concerns and has developed a care plan that has dramatically improved his quality of life. I anticipate this area of expertise will be in high demand with the current aging population so I encourage you to fully support and value this incredible specialist, her critically needed department and kind staff. To close, we feel very fortunate as well to be part of the Northwestern Network of care it has been a very positive experience.
