5.0 star star star star starJessica was thorough and explanatory. She showed me my xray results and compared them to past results where I had pneumonia in order for me to see that things were truly OK today. As a person with medical anxiety being offered education on my results is very helpful. She prescribed me all the medication I would need to help my symptoms and prevent further concerns. She left me feeling like she thought of everything and covered all the bases. She didn't send me home to just wait and see my condition would improve,l without any intervention or plan for follow up. She did everything she would need to do to reolsolve the issue or determine if escalated care was needed.

5.0 star star star star starI wish there was a score higher than 10. She instills confidence in her professional judgement while still being personable. She is willing to take the time to listen to more than just list of symptoms in order to get the full context of your reason for being there. I can't recommend Jessica enough.

5.0 star star star star starShe was really good. I felt she knew what was wrong and addressed properly. Impressed she asked about potential allergy in MyChart. She was right I didn't have the issue that could have been a concern with a proposed script but if I did then how to handle.

5.0 star star star star starI wish there was some way to express the depth of my gratitude for Jessica. I came in on Sunday with terrible abdominal pain and 12 hours later I received an emergency appendectomy for an appendix that had ruptured 3 times. My appendix was gangrenous and I was probably less than a day away from going into septic shock. I had no idea that my problems were caused by my appendix, and there was a chance I could have missed the signs entirely without her. She took my pain seriously, did a thorough examination, and expressed the necessary urgency to get me to an ER that day. I am not sure if I would be in the condition I am in today if she hadn't done such an excellent job. Judging by what my surgeon said, I may not be here at all. I have been telling everyone I've shared my story with that Jessica was my guardian angel on Sunday. Thank you!

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
