He is extremely thorough during each of my monthly appointments - always takes the time to discuss any concerns or changes I have; always studies my updated lab results in great detail and discusses those scores of concern as well as my treatment and always shows concern for my overall well-being beyond my illness

Down to earth, easy to speak with, caring, and really listens to your needs and problems. At this point I'm in maintenance, and I see him once every 3 months. He's constantly in touch with my specialist down in the Southwest suburbs. They really work hand in hand! Always happy to see him, if I have problems he has answers/ideas. Really allows the patient to feel at ease, and figures out solutions together. Doesn't help for a doctor to tell you what you should do if you can't do it. He is definitely not like that. I already recommended somebody going through multiple myeloma like myself, and she couldn't be happier!
