5.0 star star star star starI appreciated how he was thorough, attentive, inquisitive. Most of all I appreciated that he wasn't dogmatic in his thinking or disregarded comments and symptoms that were unexpected. He took his thinking and consideration to the next level and questioned things deeper instead of accepting what may have been a quick an easy answer.

5.0 star star star star starSpent more than the customary short time period allotted for medical appointment. My annual Medicare appointment was quite productive and informative. Dr. Neal I. Shah spent fair amount of time, discussing a wide range of health concerns and offering very useful advice throughout the appointment. He's very affable, too.

5.0 star star star star starMy first visit with Dr. Shah. It was worth the seven month wait to get in to see him. Dr. Shah had a great bedside manner. From the moment he introduced himself, I could tell that he was personable. Dr. Shah was meticulous with taking my medical history and his knowledge of pharmacology was outstanding. Dr. Shah made great recommendations. I am very happy to now be an established patient of his.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
