1000%!!! There was an emergency with one of her other patients who was going into labor and she had to take her to the triage center, but before she did, she came into my room to let me know she'd be a few minutes late! When she came back, she apologized for the delay and I told her, that I didn't mind and understood the emergency, besides her last patient's emergency was much more important than mine since I was just there for a routine exam! She told me that I'm equally as important too!! Wow, what an amazing first visit!

I waited more about 50mins to be seen for a 5min check in appointment. Secondly she mentioned a couple of tests. One was iron which was to be done the next one were the HIV mandatory testing for 3rd trimester she out an order in for. I already had those done last visit. Makes me wonder if the doctors are even reading any past visit summaries prior to seeing the patient. Doesn’t give me a lot of confidence in the practice

Dr. Cavens is an amazing physician. She is professional, thoughtful, and considerate. I feel like Dr. Cavens knows me and cares deeply for me. I only see her once a year, but when she enters the room, she seems like an old friend that I feel comfortable confiding in. She doesn’t rush the visits and she makes sure that I understand every element of my health care. I would highly recommend Dr. Cavens to others.

I have been seen by various doctors during the course of this pregnancy and Dr. Cavens is by far THE BEST. She is empathetic, insightful, and incredibly helpful. I have asked for a nutritionist at two previous appointments with other physicians and I never heard from anyone. When I told Dr. Cavens, she managed to make arrangements right away and I got a call to schedule appointment with dietician within 30 minutes of leaving the office. Wow! I know my baby and I are in great hands. Thank you, Dr. Cavens!
