Dr Bowen and his team have gone above and beyond my expectations, in taking time to explain what is happening with me eye, what my treatment options are, and demonstrating a high level of care and attentiveness. He is probably the fifth ophthalmologist I have seen about my [specified] melanoma and he seems to have provided the most thorough exam. He was pointing out things that non of my other doctors had told me. Moreover on my initial consult Dr Bowen spotted a new issue and helped correct a retinal tear before it became an emergency.

For so many reasons. He's been so welcoming, knowledgeable, excellent bedside manner, the best communicator I've had from any doctor, ever. We are all impressed. Dr. Bowen has a easy manner with his patients. I felt very comfortable with him and saw the extent that testing was performed before any diagnosis was presented. He carefully explains and supports his conclusions for any tests he completed. The pros and cons are reviewed and he discusses the treatment options available. I would recommend Dr. Bowen for anyone requiring ophthalmology care.

The fact that he undoubtedly saved my life notwithstanding, he is an exceptional physician. Approachable, thorough, takes time to explain things and answer questions. Never felt rushed at all. He took equal time to talk to my wife and answer her questions and concerns. Never felt more comfortable with a Physician I had just met...during an exceptionally stressful time he put us almost immediately at ease.
