5.0 star star star star starShe was informed and communicated well. She asked excellent questions about my health history and made sure I was up to date with vaccinations and lab tests. She told me exactly what to expect with each procedure she did and was extremely timely in communicating test results.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Story-Remer is a really special physician_the kind who can get to know you and let your goals and ideas guide care, even when visits aren't as long as one might hope. She knows her stuff but can explain it in an approachable way.

5.0 star star star star starDr. Story is now my new primary physician. She was very thorough with my Wellness exam. She asked excellent questions and strove to identify any areas of health concern. She followed up immediately. I appreciated her attention, empathy, and medical advice. I am thrilled to have her as my new primary.

5.0 star star star star starDr Story was very kind and compassionate. She was professional and very informative on things I brought up. The nurse who took my vitals also had a very warm attitude throughout the whole process. What typically is stressful, anxiety inducing was very calm and comforting.

5.0 star star star star starSame as above: Dr. Story-Remer was very personable. She was knowledgeable about my health even though this was the first time I had seen her. It was obvious that she had reviewed my records. She was very detailed and suggested recommendations to discuss with my specialist. She was not rushed and made me feel like I was important, my opinions/concerns were important as well as my overall health was important.

5.0 star star star star starShe took great care in our first meeting to listen to my concerns and did not seem rushed. Also her notes from the appointment were very specific and personal, not simply the test results/findings.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
