5.0 star star star star starThe physical therapy plan and treatment I received from Joanne Cho was extremely effective and pragmatic. I was treated for a knee injury. Ms Cho's analysis of the injury and corresponding treatment plan were spot on. She stated the different goals in the treatment plan, explained how the various exercises corresponded with the goals, and clearly explained how to do each exercise correctly. Her communication skills are exceptional. She listens attentively and responds in a clear, helpful, and non judgmental manner. It made each office visit purposeful and results oriented, while also encouraging and supportive. If I ever need physical therapy again, I will go back to her instantly.

5.0 star star star star starShe is very professional. She knows her stuff. The therapy she gives works! My never ending pains are finally disappearing, and with each day my range of motion is closer to 100% and I'm getting stronger!

5.0 star star star star starJoanne listens to my concerns, assures me that I am recovering at a good pace, helps me manage pain, knows when I need to slow down with some of my at home therapy, or when I need to up my game. And I see improvement with the therapy that she gives me. She also makes adjustments where needed. A couple of the exercises still shock/hurt when I start the exercise but minimizes as I continue. My elbow feels a little odd and painful when I set on the table or even when pushing off the bed. Can't wait to let her know.

5.0 star star star star starMy therapist, Joanne, really takes care of me, giving me the exercises, some of them challenging; that I need to get better. And oh, I feel and see the improvements. I am excited for my full recovery and so grateful to my therapist.

5.0 star star star star starMiss Joanne is really the best. Yesterday I my first day of passive therapy after 4 weeks of rotator cuff repair surgery. I am not aware when I'm tensed, but she is; and before she proceeds with any movement she makes sure I relax - making the session much less painful than I thought it would be. I am so grateful for her, she listens to my body and I trust her with my care. Thank you

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
